The Tech Trial organized by Empowerment Foundation is a unique educational competition: students aged 13 to 19 present fictional cases before a jury on major ethical issues in the digital world. The program brings together teachers, volunteer lawyers, and foundation staff, and operates in a bilingual setting, involving both French- and English-speaking classes.
Behind this educational ambition lies an operational reality: coordinating dozens of schools, answering students’ questions about the cases being argued, equipping teachers, and ensuring smooth communication in both languages.
